Geocaching banned from North Dakota’s wildlife management areas.

Saw this item on a blog – I’ll try to track down the original source tomorrow. It’s unfortunate when public land managers are not willing to work with the geocaching community to create guidelines that benefit everyone. Geocaching can be very compatible with the purposes of this type of land reserve, as long as there is open communication and good will. I wonder how many false descriptions of “buried treasure” these decision makers read before sitting down to create this policy? North Dakota, I am not impressed.
