I’m in Williamsburg, Virginia

Woke up to rain and a bit of water in the tent. Weather cleared up after breakfast. Saw more of Gettysburg before heading off. It’s amazing and heart-breaking. Did the Earthcaches at Devil’s Den and Little Round Top, visited a couple of souvenir shops and resisted the temptation to make ironic purchases ( So. Many. Confederate. Flags.)

Crossed the Mason-Dixon line around 3pm. Grabbed a traditional cache at the Maryland border visitor centre (as well as maps of Maryland and Virginia).

Trucked onward past Washington (we’ll see it on the way back) and Richmond (ditto) and got into Williamsburg at 7:30pm or so. My campsite has a view of the pool and wi-fi access. Ah, roughing it.

Tomorrow we’ll visit Colonial Williamsburg where I hope to get some Virtuals, and then we go on to Charlotte, North Carolina.
